She does not rise suddenly.
There is no rupture, no violence in the leaving.
Only a gentle loosening…
as though the world itself has exhaled her upward.
 
The body remembers the earth—
in fabric, in weight, in the trailing of a dress across grass.
 
But something within her has already crossed.
The air thickens with jasmine,
a scent that does not belong to the ground,
but to the space just beyond it.
 
She is not gone.
She is becoming….
